Arkansas police arrest 13 after ‘riot’ erupts at high school

Police in Arkansas made 13 arrests at a highschool after “a number of fights” broke out on Thursday, which led to property injury.

The Little Rock Police Division stated that officers have been referred to as to Corridor STEAM Magnet Excessive Faculty on Thursday afternoon at 12:28 p.m. in response to a disturbance name. When officers arrived, a number of fights have been in progress which resulted in property injury.

Because of the fights, 12 folks have been arrested for disorderly conduct and one felony arrest was made for inciting a riot.

Police say one particular person was taken to a neighborhood hospital for minor accidents.

The Little Rock Faculty District advised FOX 16 that the college was briefly on lockdown in the course of the sequence of fights, which has been lifted.

Faculty officers say that the scholars concerned with the fights will face disciplinary actions in accordance with its faculty handbook in addition to any authorized penalties.
