West Alabama grabs third win in week three
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – West Alabama hosted Limestone University tonight and kept the Saints on their toes.
The Lions ended the first quarter by sacking Saints quarterback Dustin Noller and recovering the fumble all the way to the end zone.
And to start the second quarter, half-back Silas Thompson grabbed an interception, putting the Lions in scoring position.
The West Alabama defense stayed faithful, holding the Saints at three points to end the half.
The final score was 33-14.
The Lions will roll into their first away game at West Florida next week with a 3-0 record.
