Prisoner serving murder sentence escapes in Alabama
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA/Grey Information) – The Alabama Division of Corrections is trying to find an inmate who escaped Saturday afternoon, WSFA stories.
Kyle David who’s presently serving a 99-year jail sentence for a 2000 homicide conviction, is assigned to the Purple Eagle Work Heart in Montgomery, Alabama. He left his assigned job location round 5:15 p.m. Saturday and didn’t return.
The division has not offered particulars on the place David’s assigned job location was.
David is 49-years-old and described as being 5 foot 11 inches and roughly 190 kilos. He has black hair and brown eyes.
David’s Alabama Division of Corrections custody classification lists him a “minimum-out” inmate. These inmates “don’t pose a big danger to self or others and appropriate to be assigned off-property work particulars with out the direct supervision of correctional officers,” in accordance with the Alabama Division of Corrections.
The classification requires inmates to stay “in jail clothes always.” Their work is mostly assigned to solely authorities positions. Inmates on this custody are usually assigned to Group Work Facilities with larger safety amenities that preserve a small variety of job assignments requiring minimal supervision.
