Power outages pile up as high winds, heavy rain move across Alabama
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – With high winds and heavy rain moving across the state of Alabama late Monday night into Tuesday morning, more than 40,000 power outages are being reported across the entire state.
In central Alabama, Tuscaloosa County is reporting about 6,000 customers without power as of midnight and Jefferson County is reporting about 5,500.
