Livestock impacted by heat in North Alabama
LIMESTONE Co., Ala. (WAFF) – Many North Alabama counties are affected by a drought as temperatures stay excessive.
The warmth is impacting folks, but additionally livestock. An area farmer, Dustin Peek, stated the excessive temperatures are actually beginning to take a toll.
Peek stated that his greatest concern is water for his livestock as many of the ponds and creeks on his property are beginning to dry up.
