The Alabama Crimson Tide have made their final case to the committee.

The Tide took care of business Saturday in the Iron Bowl, defeating Auburn 28-14 to finish the regular season 9-3

Alabama produced 457 total yards and possessed the ball for 36:35 and went an efficient 12-of-18 on third down. They also forced two crucial turnovers in the fourth quarter.

Naturally, tensions were high between the two rivals and a fight even broke out during play.

Creg Stephenson the First @CregStephenson

Jalen Milroe is the first Alabama quarterback to rush for 100 yards twice in the Iron Bowl. (He had 107 last year.)
Only other one who had done it even once was Jeff Rutledge with 102 in 1977.

Auburn refused to play smart football today.
Alabama is not a championship caliber team this year, but they’ll get a chance to play for one because of the new format.

The Crimson Tide will not be in the SEC Championship and will hope for some chaos to get them over the hump. They entered this week ranked No. 13 and a losses for Miami and Clemson this week should help Alabama’s chances.
