Haunted attractions opening around central Alabama
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — As fall rolls around, seasonal haunted attractions are opening up around central Alabama.
Here are some to look out for in 2024:

Nightmare at 3008

Nightmare at 3008 is in Fultondale. This attraction features a “Sensory Awareness Day” on Oct. 13, where loud noises, strobe lights and jump scares will be excluded from the experience. It also features a “Kids’ Day” on Oct. 27, where children are invited to come in costume and trick or treat with the attraction’s characters. Kids’ Day and Sensory Awareness Day both cost $5, while general admission tickets are $25. The attraction’s calendar can be found here.

Warehouse 31

Warehouse 31 is in Pelham. This attraction features a traditional story-based haunt called “Rigamortis,” a 3D experience and an escape room. Warehouse 31’s calendar can be found here.

Spirit Halloween locations across central Alabama

Atrox Factory

Atrox Factory is in Leeds. According to its website, this attraction is the largest all-indoor haunted attraction in the Southeast, spanning over 50,000 square feet. Atrox Factory’s calendar can be found here.

Hellbilly Hollow

Hellbilly Hollow is in Vincent. This attraction features a haunted house, corn maze and spooky tractor ride through a swamp area. The attraction will have a children-friendly day Oct. 22, which will include treats and free face painting. Here is a link to Hellbilly Hollow’s schedule.
