Alabama man arrested for trafficking after high-speed chase in Troup County

TROUP COUNTY – On April 12, a routine site visitors cease on Interstate 85 southbound close to mile marker 7 become a high-speed pursuit that ended with the arrest of Henry Murphy Jr., 35, of Selma, Alabama.

Capt. Nathan Taylor of the Troup County Sheriff’s Workplace initiated the cease after observing Murphy’s silver Cadillac following too intently. Upon approaching the automobile, Capt. Throughout a search of the automobile, authorities found roughly 10 kilos of high-grade marijuana and a big sum of cash believed to be proceeds from unlawful drug gross sales.
