‘Silent majority’ of Disney employees support Florida law, Disney employee running for Congress says

Disney condemned the invoice in an official assertion Monday.

“Florida’s HB 1557, also called the ‘Don’t Say Homosexual’ invoice, ought to by no means have handed and may by no means have been signed into regulation,” the assertion, posted on the Walt Disney Firm’s Twitter web page, reads. “Our purpose as an organization is for this regulation to be repealed by the legislature or struck down within the courts, and we stay dedicated to supporting the nationwide and state organizations working to acheive that.”

He cited The Walt Disney Firm’s official mission assertion, suggesting his employer must return to it.

Maybe bolstering Castillo’s argument {that a} “silent majority” of staff assist the regulation, a bunch of staff urged Disney to desert its stance in opposition to the Florida regulation in an open letter, urging the corporate to undertake a politically impartial stance. Castillo stated he was not a part of that effort, however he helps it.
