Wildlife Watch: Mild winter has some reptiles, amphibians on the move

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A mild start to winter has resulted in some unprecedented amphibian and reptile activity taking place.

Winter is usually when frogs will burrow under the frozen mud and snow. But with some warmer weather, critters like frogs and turtles have been spotted around the state.

Our Ike Bendavid spoke with Jim Andrews with the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas project about what he is seeing.
