The summer-like warmth wave isn’t retaining skiers from the slopes in Vermont.

“iI’s going to be a H-O-T one on Saturday with temps flirting with the 90-degree mark!” the famed resort Killington posted on its web site. “Celebrity is able to rock with high to backside snowboarding.”

“Celebrity” is a World Cup ski run on Skye Peak mountain. The resort’s webcam reveals a strip of white slashing by way of the luxurious foliage, with numerous skiers heading down the slope.

Killington’s web site says the mountain nonetheless has a 20-inch snowpack, although it notes no new snow has fallen up to now 24 hours.
