Vt Steampunk Exposition all about Victorian fantasy and science fiction.
ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermonters are getting in the spirit for some Victorian modernized fun. Vermont’s very own 3rd annual Vermont steam punk expo came back this weekend. The event is all about Victorian fantasy and science fiction. People dress up in their favorite Victorian fantasy looks with corsets skirts and different kinds of hats. Vendors say Saturday was a good turn out but there seems to be less shoppers this year.
“This time, especially with the election having happened recently. A lot of people have been kind of subdued, or a little bit more mellow. People have been browsing a lot more instead of sending,” said Lucy Moulton of South Burlington.
Organizers say over five hundred people attended the event.
