Vermont deer hunting season begins

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – White-tailed deer searching season is underway in Vermont and it kicks off with archery.

The season started Saturday, Oct. 1, and runs till December, with a November exception.

Youth deer weekend and novice weekend are in roughly three weeks, adopted by Muzzleloader Antlerless.

Not more than 4 deer might be taken per yr and just one could also be a authorized buck.

Youth and novice hunters can take two authorized bucks, supplied one is taken throughout the youth or novice season, to not exceed the annual restrict of 4 deer.

No antler restrictions apply for Youth Deer Weekend.
