Springfield man arrested in connection with deadly Vermont shooting
WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting at a Waterbury trailer park earlier this month.
Early Saturday morning, police say Fabrice Rumama, 20, of Springfield, Mass. was arrested on second-degree murder charges. Police say he shot and killed Shawn Spiker, 34, of Croydon, New Hampshire on October 14.
The shooting happened at the Kneeland Flats Trailer Park in Waterbury.
Vermont State Police say nobody has been charged with the shooting of Michael Perry, 57, of Waterbury.
Rumama is currently being held without bail. He is set to be arraigned in Washington County Court on Monday.
