Snowmobile crash sends woman to hospital

WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont authorities say a New Jersey lady was hospitalized after crashing right into a tree with a juvenile passenger on board.

It occurred Saturday on VAST path 100A in Waterbury. Vermont Recreation Wardens say Sabrina Dimaiolo, 46, of New Jersey, was working a snowmobile with a juvenile passenger on a guided tour. They are saying Dimaiolo misplaced management after hitting a water bar and hit a number of bushes. Each Dimaiolo and her passenger have been ejected.

Stowe Rescue and Stowe Mountain Rescue crews transported Dimaiolo to Copley Hospital in Morristown the place she was handled for extreme however non-life-threatening accidents. The juvenile was evaluated on scene.
