Six Vermont communities receive federal block grants

Greater than $2 million in federal Neighborhood Growth Block Grants will go to 6 tasks throughout Vermont.

Vermont Governor Phil Scott introduced that the $2.22 million will go to the cities of Arlington, Highgate, Pittsford and Randolph and the cities of South Burlington and Vergennes. The Republican calls the grants a necessary useful resource that assist native communities with precedence tasks that profit principally low- and moderate-income residents.

Tasks funded by means of the grants embrace group revitalization, improvement of inexpensive and combined revenue housing and ADA compliant renovations.
