Sen. Leahy travels Vermont Tuesday for two programs

DUXBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Sen. Patrick Leahy might be touring Vermont Tuesday to focus on two completely different packages.

First, he’ll be in Duxbury on the Crossett Brook Center Faculty from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

There he’ll be talking to the center faculty college students and youngsters from the Harwood Union Excessive Faculty concerning the Farm to Faculty program. This program gives college students with entry to native meals.

Then from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., he’ll be in Waterbury to be honored by advocates in opposition to home and sexual violence.

Organizers say Leahy, D-Vermont, efficiently supported efforts to strengthen the Violence In opposition to Girls Act and the Victims of Crime Act.
