Rutland man arrested in possession of stolen property – Newport Dispatch
RUTLAND TOWN — Vermont State Police arrested a 45-year-old Rutland man in connection with a theft at Home Depot on Saturday evening.
Troopers responded to a report of a theft in progress at the store on Feb. 25 at approximately 6:42 p.m.
They conducted a vehicle stop on US Route 4 East, where they determined that John Crawford was in possession of stolen property from the store.
Crawford was taken into custody, processed at the Rutland Barracks, and later released with a citation. He is scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court-Criminal Division on April 29 at 10 a.m.
