Police release identity of man killed in explosion at Vermont home

NEWFANE, Vt. (WCAX) – Police have launched the title of the person who was killed in an explosion at a house in Newfane.

Vermont State Police recognized the sufferer as Russell Buzby, 56, of Newfane.

It occurred on Nov. 18 at about 1 a.m. Crews responded to a report of an explosion and fireplace at a residence on Route 30 and located the house utterly destroyed. They discovered Buzby’s physique within the particles.

Investigators say the trigger and method of Buzby’s demise are nonetheless below investigation. So is the reason for the fireplace.
