WARREN, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police are still searching for the person who they believed drowned at a popular swimming hole over the weekend.

VSP says its Underwater Recovery Team, and several other emergency crews, responded to the Warren Falls for a missing person just before 2p.m. Saturday.

Search and recovery crews continued their work to locate 35-year-old Tuan Baldino of Paramus, New Jersey Sunday.

Police say due to the conditions of the Mad River, with high and swift water, recovery was unsuccessful, and the search will continue when river conditions allow possibly as early as Monday.

Police say Baldino was last seen in the Cascades section of the falls.
