New report details financial impacts of flooding on Vermont farmers
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Flooding this past summer combined with other severe weather caused nearly $70 million in damage to Vermont farms, according to a new report.
The Vermont Agriculture Recovery Task Force’s Extreme Weather Impact & Recovery report details some of the greatest impacts on the state’s farmers.
Roy Beckford is co-chair of that task force and the director of the UVM Extension. He spoke with our Darren Perron about the report’s findings. Watch the video to see their full conversation.
