Mass. man faces murder charge in fatal Vermont trailer park shooting
A Massachusetts man is facing a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of a New Hampshire man at a Vermont trailer park last week.
Vermont State Police arrested 20-year-old Springfield resident Fabrice Rumama on Saturday in connection with the death of 34-year-old Croydon, New Hampshire, resident Shawn Spiker, the department said in a press release. State police charged Rumama with second-degree murder.
Spiker was killed in an early morning shooting at a home in the Kneeland Flats Trailer Park in Waterbury on Oct. 14, police said. Troopers responded to the home around 12:45 a.m. that day and found Spiker and another man — 57-year-old Waterbury resident Michael Perry — with gunshot wounds.
