Man arrested in Baltimore, Vermont burglary spree – Newport Dispatch

BALTIMORE — A man was arrested Monday evening after Vermont State Police responded to a reported burglary on Graves Road.

At 5:56 p.m., troopers were called to the scene where they identified Ivan Deutsch, 32, as a person of interest.

Following a discussion with Deutsch, authorities found probable cause to arrest him on charges of burglary and unlawful mischief.

The incident involved vandalism at the residences of two elderly victims, David Lindroos, 72, of Sandwich, Massachusetts, and Margaret Corso, 79, of Weathersfield.

Deutsch was processed at the Westminster Barracks before being lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. for the charges brought against him.
