Johnson scores 15, Saint Mary’s (CA) takes down Vermont

MORAGA, Calif. (AP) — Logan Johnson had 15 factors in Saint Mary’s (CA)’s 79-53 win over Vermont on Thursday.

Johnson added seven rebounds for the Gaels (2-0). Alex Ducas scored 14 factors whereas capturing 5 for 10 (2 for six from 3-point vary) and a pair of of three from the free throw line, and added 5 rebounds and three steals. Luke Barrett recorded 12 factors and shot 4 for 4, together with 3 for 3 from past the arc.

The Catamounts (1-1) had been led by Robin Duncan, who recorded 14 factors and two steals. Dylan Penn added 13 factors for Vermont. As well as, Finn Sullivan had eight factors and 7 rebounds.

Saint Mary’s (CA) led Vermont 35-24 on the half, with Johnson (9 factors) their excessive scorer earlier than the break. Saint Mary’s (CA) outscored Vermont within the second half by 15 factors, with Barrett scoring a team-high 9 factors after intermission.
