BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – It’s an effort to keep Vermonters warm this winter and you can help.

The Great Vermont Coat Drive has been underway for just over two weeks now and it has already collected 700 coats for Vermonters in need. But they still need more, and you still have another week to donate.

The coats are being collected and distributed by the Vermont Department for Children and Families. They are collecting new and freshly cleaned, gently used coats for all sizes and ages.

You can drop off coats at the Vermont Federal Credit Union locations in Burlington, South Burlington, Essex, Milton, St. Albans, Middlebury and Vergennes through Saturday, Feb. 10.
