Feds: Springfield dealer ran his drug business from Vermont jail

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Federal prosecutors say they want to back out of a plea deal with a major fentanyl and crack cocaine dealer when they learned he continued drug trafficking from his jail cell in Central Vermont after pleading guilty, court records show.

Hussein “Q” Iman, 21, of Springfield, Massachusetts, managed an organization that distributed significant quantities of narcotics in Central Vermont and into the Northeast Kingdom from at least October 2023 and continuing after his arrest in July 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Vermont said.
