BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington city councilors heard a presentation on working plans for the former YMCA.

In January, developer Bruce Baker submitted a permit application to renovate the abandoned building into an apartment complex. They’ve received semi-approval for what would be 90 units of housing and supporting uses.

In Monday’s meeting, renderings were shared with councilors of what the completed project would look like.

They say there’s still a lot of work to be done before work on the project really takes off.
