17th-ranked UMass Lowell to host Vermont twice this weekend

LOWELL – The Seventeenth-ranked UMass Lowell hockey staff hopes to benefit from the pleasant confines of the Tsongas Heart this weekend.

The River Hawks (5-3) will host the College of Vermont in Hockey East clashes Friday (7:15 p.m.) and Saturday (6 p.m.). Although it’s early within the season, league factors are crucial.
