Rhode Island State Police hold ceremony for Ruby
The Rhode Island State Police held a ceremony on Friday to say goodbye to Ok-9 Ruby, the topic of the Netflix film Rescued By Ruby. Ruby was a neighborhood rescue canine adopted and educated by Cpl. Dan O’Neill. Ruby and Dan turned well-known for rescuing the son of the girl who helped get Ruby adopted. Dan and Ruby had been an inseparable pair for the previous 11 years and Ruby was a treasured member of each the state police and the O’Neill household. Ruby had most cancers and died final weekend.
