The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) is requesting Individuals and Business owners who sustained losses and/or damages from the Severe Weather event from January 9 – 11, 2024 to complete an initial damage assessment form. Submitting this information will assist the State in determining whether to pursue Federal reimbursement.

The State is also exploring the possibility of a Small Business Administration disaster declaration which would potentially involve homeowners and businesses.

Homeowners and businesses can now submit directly to RIEMA via the RIEMA website and utilize the Initial Damage Assessment (IDA) Form to document and report physical damage or economic loss to a business.
