Rhode Island 1st Congressional District special election day
Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District special election will be held on Tuesday.
Residents can find polling place information on the Rhode Island Department of State’s website.

Green Day to perform at Fenway Park, tickets go on sale
Tickets to the Green Day performance at Fenway Park for next summer will go on sale this week.
The Citi Cardmembers pre-sale will start on Tuesday. General ticket sales will start Friday.
The Saviors Tour, which celebrates 30 years of “Dookie” and 20 years of “American Idiot,” will have a stop in Boston on Aug. 7, 2024.
Woman charged in fatal pedestrian crash at UMass Dartmouth to be arraigned
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office charged Danasia Sampson, 22 of Mattapan, with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation in October.
The deadly crash occurred on April 6 and claimed the life of 19-year-old Frank A. Petillo Jr. of New Jersey.
Sampson will be arraigned in New Bedford District Court on Tuesday.
Veteran’s Day this weekend, events honor local veterans
Veteran’s Day will be this Saturday.
Various events are being held to honor the veterans in the area, from a town common filled with flags for local veterans to Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial display at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough for Veterans Day weekend.
