PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — The Portsmouth Rhode Island Firefighters, Local 1949 said that a fire broke out at the Connors Funeral Home on West Main Road on April 4.

The fire occurred around 1:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived they saw fire showing through the roof.

The union said there were no injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
