Eleventh hour insurance bill could help top employer FM expand in R.I.
An obscure 1984 state law setting limits on investments by local insurance companies is now in the spotlight after Johnston company FM asked state lawmakers to repeal the investment cap. A House panel will hold an initial hearing on the proposed law change Thursday.
