Attleboro woman allegedly rams cruiser, other vehicles in Rhode Island

ATTLEBORO — A metropolis girl faces fees after allegedly ramming her SUV into three automobiles, together with a police cruiser, in Narragansett, R.I.

The incident started Tuesday morning when a R.I. Division of Environmental Administration worker requested Elise Collins, 57, to maneuver her SUV, which was illegally parked on DEM property on Nice Island Highway, officers stated.

Collins allegedly flipped them off and sped away, crashing right into a DEM police officer’s truck. The officer acquired minor wrist accidents, authorities stated.

When a Narragansett police officer approached Collins, she repeatedly rammed the officer’s cruiser and the DEM truck, authorities stated.

Collins was transported to South County Hospital for therapy and an analysis, officers stated.

A video obtained by WJAR-TV in Windfall captured the incident during which the SUV Collins was driving caught fireplace after hitting the opposite automobiles on Galilee Escape Highway.

Narragansett police plan to cost Collins with site visitors violations whereas DEM is investigating and plans to submit data to the state Legal professional Basic’s Workplace for the aim of charging a felony case.
