A Wish Come True Polar Plunge to support Disney trips for two kids | ABC6
NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The annual “A Wish Come True” Polar Plunge in Newport will fund Disney trips for two Rhode Island children.
The traditional run into the ocean at Easton’s Beach was set for noon.
The “A Wish Come True” program raises money to benefit children facing life-threatening illnesses.
This year, the plunge will benefit 6-year-old Sofia from Warwick and 16-year-old Gracela from West Kingstown.

They both wished to go to Florida to see Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld.
Drivers should be prepared for delays and restrictions on Memorial Boulevard near the beach until about 1 p.m.
