$50K Powerball Prize Claimed By Providence Man
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man has claimed the $50,000 Powerball prize.
Rhode Island Lottery officials on Monday were looking for whoever won the prize from the Saturday drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Season’s Corner Market at 2128 Elmwood Ave. in Warwick, lottery officials said.
The winner said he will use the money towards remodeling his house.
Wednesday’s estimated Powerball jackpot is $416 million.
