Vegetation fires burn 11 acres in Pittsburg overnight
PITTSBURG — A number of vegetation fires burned in a single day in Pittsburg Monday earlier than fireplace crews had been in a position to comprise them.
The Contra Costa County Hearth Safety District tweeted at 2:08 a.m. in regards to the fires burning off Golf Membership Street south of W. Leland Street.
The fires reached two alarms and burned about 11 acres earlier than they had been contained.
No accidents have been reported and the reason for the fires was not identified.
