Two dead after car hits deer in Pittsburg County

PITTSBURG COUNTY, Okla. — Two folks had been killed after their automobile hit a deer Saturday night in Pittsburg County, in line with the Oklahoma Freeway Patrol (OHP).

OHP mentioned the accident occurred round 7:45 p.m. on Indian Nation Turnpike mile marker 80, about 15 miles north of McAlester in Pittsburg County.

In accordance with OHP, Christopher Pierson, age 33 of Norman, was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot with one passenger, 28-year-old Darci Pierson, additionally of Norman.

OHP mentioned Christopher was driving northbound on the turnpike when he hit a deer. The Jeep ran off the correct aspect of the street, struck a tree after which rolled onto it’s aspect.
