PITTSBURGH, PA — A popular Pittsburgh brewpub is closing its doors.

Voodoo Brewing is shuttering its location on the North Shore after Tuesday. The brewpub announced the move on social media.

“What a blast it’s been serving the North Shore,” a Facebook post stated.

“After almost three years, we’ve made the call to close the pub so we can double down on what we do best: brewing world-class beer and making it more available throughout Pennsylvania. This shift will allow us to improve our production, expand distribution, and support our growing network of franchise locations across the country.

“Thank you to everyone who stopped in and supported us on the North Shore and to our staff who made it happen every single day…Come raise a glass and help us close things out right. It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later.”

Voodoo Brewing Co. was founded in 2005 in Meadville and opened its first taproom in 2012. Its other Pennsylvania locations include Meadville, Houston, Erie and State College.
