Pittsburgh Steelers fans are projected to take over an opposing stadium once again

Pittsburgh Steelers diehards took over Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Week 1. They were so loud throughout the game that Steelers fans caused the Atlanta Falcons to use a silent count in their stadium. By doing so, they caused a mistimed snap, which led to a fumble recovery for T.J. Watt.

Could Steelers fans take over a stadium once again in Week 2 when they travel to Denver?

According to Vivid Seats’ Fan Forecast, over 55 percent of the stadium is projected to be Steelers fans when they travel to the Mile High City. A week ago against the Falcons, it was projected that 53 percent of the stadium would be Steelers fans, so this seems even more drastic.

The ticket for the game, the return of Russell Wilson to Denver, is the third hottest ticket in Denver Broncos history, according to Vivid Seats. The average price of a ticket for the game is $445, making it one of the most expensive in the team’s history, too.

The Broncos against the Steelers is the most in-demand ticket for the week, with the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs coming in second. So, it seems that Steelers fans are expected to show out in droves once again in Denver for their Week 2 matchup.
