Pittsburg wildfire still active; crews return as smoke fills air

PITTSBURG, Calif. – Con Fireplace stated Friday the wildfire that has been burning in Pittsburg for the final three weeks remains to be energetic and is giving off a considerable amount of smoke.
Officers stated they’ve been monitoring the long-smoldering fireplace positioned within the marsh space waterfront, and this weekend it started kicking up new proof of burning.
KTVU obtained calls Saturday from involved residents who stated there was a ‘ton of smoke’ within the air, and that it regarded like the fireplace had reignited.
