Pa. Department of Environmental Protection issuing fish consumption advisories
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With the fishing season in full swing, there are some fish anglers should not be consuming.
The Division of Environmental Safety stated this is because of toxins comparable to mercury in particular fish populations in a number of our bodies of water throughout Pennsylvania.
Amongst these on the record to keep away from consuming are carp within the Ohio River in Allegheny and Beaver counties. Consultants are advising to not eat channel catfish within the Mahoning River in Lawrence County.
