Italian groups host cuccidati cookie contest, fall fest in Pittsburg
The Sons & Daughters of Italy and C. Colombo Lodge 1315 will host its annual Cuccidati Contest and Italian cookie sale and pageant on Nov. 12 at a brand new venue, the Pittsburg Youth Growth Heart.
Everyone seems to be invited to enter the cookie contest however should present a minimal of 100 cuccidati, Italian fig-stuffed cookies often known as buccellati and historically served at Christmastime. The general public is also invited to hitch within the enjoyable judging the cuccidati, which is usually lined with icing and lined with rainbow sprinkles.
