Daughter slams plea deal in slaying of Pittsburg adult ed principal
PITTSBURG, Calif. – The daughter of the Pittsburg Grownup Schooling principal who was shot and killed by his spouse voiced outrage Wednesday that the defendant has taken a plea cope with prosecutors.
Maria Vides was initially charged by the Contra Costa County DA’s workplace with homicide within the 2019 taking pictures loss of life of Paul Shatswell.
However Vides accepted a plea deal in September for involuntary manslaughter.
Shatswell’s daughter Serena Shatswell informed KTVU she’s upset with the deal, beneath which Vides is anticipated to be sentenced to seven years in jail.
