SEPTA police searching for man accused of assaulting woman on bus

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — SEPTA police are asking for the general public’s assist in figuring out a person accused of assaulting a lady on the bus Sunday morning.

It occurred round 1:45 a.m. on a Market-Frankford Line Evening Owl bus close to eighth and Market streets.

Police mentioned the suspect approached the lady, who was seated, and demanded that she give her seat to him.

When she refused, he punched her within the face and pushed her. He then fled the scene after the assault, mentioned investigators.

The sufferer was transported to Jefferson College Hospital for non-life-threatening accidents.
