Philadelphia police officer struck by suspected DUI driver following traffic stop

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A Philadelphia police officer was injured after she was struck by a suspected DUI driver following a visitors cease on Wednesday evening.

It occurred round 8 p.m. on the 6700 block of Torresdale Avenue.

Police stated the 44-year-old feminine officer had simply accomplished a visitors cease and was strolling again to her SUV when one other driver swerved into her.
