Officials: Woman pulled from Delaware River after car plunges off pier

CAMDEN COUNTY, New Jersey (WPVI) — Three Camden County cops helped rescue a lady after her automobile went into the Delaware River Thursday afternoon.

Officers say the automobile went off Freedom Pier, a fishing spot in Gloucester Metropolis, and plunged into the river simply after 1 p.m.

The car was positioned the other way up on the time officers arrived.

Gloucester Metropolis police say three officers then jumped into the river to extract the feminine sufferer from the car.

The officers and the feminine sufferer had been then transported by three Good Samaritans to a close-by floating dock.

Officers say officers continued medical therapy on the feminine sufferer till the Gloucester County Fireplace Division arrived.

Emergency crews searched the car for any further occupants.

No different occupants had been positioned within the car, officers say.

Up to now, there isn’t any phrase but on the feminine sufferer’s situation.
