Officials now say gunman in Frankford shootout was killed by police gunfire

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police say the gunman who allegedly shot a SEPTA police officer and three different individuals earlier this week died by police gunfire and never by suicide, as beforehand reported by investigators.
