13 people shot, 2 dead, after gunfire erupts on South Street in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — No less than 13 folks have been shot, and two of them have been killed, after a mass capturing late Saturday evening on South Avenue in Philadelphia.

All of it started shortly earlier than midnight on the intersection with Third Avenue.

Police say an E-911 name got here in for an individual with a gun, and a big crowd.

An officer arriving on the scene noticed a male firing right into a crowd of individuals, police say.

That officer fired his service weapon thrice, police say. It’s not identified if the male suspect was hit.

No arrests have been made. A weapon was recovered on the scene.

There was no rapid phrase on the identities of these killed.

Seven of the victims have been taken to Thomas Jefferson College Hospital, the place one among them was pronounced lifeless on arrival.
