Wind advisory issued for part of Pennsylvania until Thursday morning
On Wednesday at 4 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 1 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Cambria, Blair, Somerset, Bedford and Fulton counties.
The weather service describes, “West-Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.Travel in high profile vehicles could be difficult,” says the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
